Kyri and her new horse
Baby Sister doesn't like to ride her new horse, but I do! She does really like the sounds it makes, though!

Christmas Pictures!
Luckily, Baby Sister was home in time for this year's Christmas pictures. Gammy said we are dressed like the bluebirds of happiness (although Momma said Kyri is looking none too happy in the first photo)!
Kyri smiled for this next one! I smiled for all of them...
Speaking of me and my great smile! ...
Baby Kyri has a smile almost as cute as mine!
Mommy and Kyri look pretty happy, too!
Mommy and Daddy said it was tough taking a picture with Kyri and me in it. The only picture the photographer could get was when we were distracted by looking at the Christmas book. In all of the other photos, Kyri was either pulling my hair, my sweater or I was making strange faces...
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and that Santa treated you as well as he did me!

Taiwan - Day Seven
Mr. Yeh took us to the Wulai Aboriginal Village, and this was perhaps our nicest day yet. The mountains outside of the city are simply gorgeous, we had our best meal yet, and we had a truly wonderful day:
After Mr. Yeh also treated us to dinner later, we capped off the evening with a visit to the night market:
We had a scroll made with Kyri's Chinese Name by a master calligrapher (we are getting one for Kai also)

Taiwan - Day Six
We had dinner with our new friends, Beth, Christine, Michael, and Chia-An. Christine and Michael met Chia-An the same day that we met Kyri and are a wonderful couple. Beth is so very kind to volunteer her time to assist families with questions and issues during and after the adoption process.

Gotcha Day!
All went quite well and it was a whirlwind day... we're all too exhausted to write much right now, but we wanted to get some pictures posted here as soon as possible...

Taiwan - Day Four
Today, we visited Taipei 101, which was until recently the tallest building in the world:
The building is a true engineering marvel:
The view of the city from inside:
A view from the (windy) outdoor observation deck:
A giant "damper" keeps the building stable:
You can actually see it inside the building:
I saw this good-looking girl on the 91st floor:
On floor 88, there is a lot of art, here is a piece of coral (coral gem - not coral reef - and therefore acceptable to harvest.) The detail carved into this piece was amazing:
Some Taiwanese accomplishments:
Later, we visited Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall:
We spotted some turtles in a lake nearby:

Taiwan - Day Three
A quick recap of day three...
Confucius Temple:
Baoan Gang Temple:
Huge Outdoor Flower Market:
Very Large Jade Market:
You never know what you'll come across next on the sidewalk!
Waiting for a table at Din Tai Fung - an incredible Dumpling restaurant!
A nice pathway in the middle of the busy street:
We stumbled across this really large and beautiful park - Daan Forest Park - right in the middle of the city:
Nighttime Shopping, things are nicely decorated for the holidays:
